With The Bank of Monroe's debit card, you can use it to make purchases anywhere you see the MasterCard symbol or to make purchases through the mail, over the telephone or through the internet. This card also gives you the benefits and advantages of an ATM card, it allows you 24-hour access to your account(s) to make cash withdrawals, transfer funds between The Bank of Monroe accounts, and check your account balances.
Debit Cards are issued to Customers with Checking Accounts and can be linked to your Savings Account.
There are no charges for using the Debit Cards at one of The Bank of Monroe’s ATM. Free ATM withdrawals at all SUM ATM locations nationwide.
To report lost or stolen cards, please call 1-800-500-1044 or contact your local Branch Office.
To activate your new debit card and set your PIN number or reset your debit card PIN number please call 1-866-633-5293.
Important Information about Procedures for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
